by veterinarian professionals in clinical settings as an aid to monitoring the effectiveness of diabetes control in the animal. It is intended to be used for the quantitative measurement of
blood glucose in fresh whole blood samples. It should not be used for the diagnosis or screening of diabetes mellitus.Professionals may test with capillary and venous blood sample from the animal’s paw
pad and marginal ear. Self-testing is limited to capillary whole blood testing.
